abstract = "The article presents the results obtained with Unnamed Aerial
Vehicle (UAV/UnB) high spatial resolution data to produce a
density surface model (DSM). The VANT/UnB was used to obtain
remote sensing visible spectral imagery with 6 cm spatial
resolution and altitude data. The area of study, located in the
city of Brasilia near Lake Parano{\'a}, was imaged with 500
images of 60% common area overlapping in the 1/1000 flight scale.
One density surface model (MDS) and one orthomosaic of the study
area were produced with Pix4D software using a point cloud
algorithm based the UAV`s GPS and attitude parameters. The
orthomosaic imagery and MDS obtained from the UAV were registered
with similar digital terrain model obtained by aerial
photogrammetric survey from Terracap Co. called SIRGAS using 64
ground control point (GCP) by georeferencing tools in ArcGis
system. In the ArcGis system, spatial analyst module algorithms
(TIN generator, Raster Calculator, Slice Model, Profile Stack and
mathematical operators) were used to compare the DSM/UAV with
DTM/SIRGAS. Next, it was applied a statics analysis by P-Test
using altitudes values measured in the area studied with
topographic GPS survey and altitudes values from DSM/UAV and
DTM/SIRGAS. The results obtained from the UAV`s high spatial
resolution data confirmed its geometric and cartographic qualities
to be used in study areas of up to 10Km2, thus making it a quality
option in regards to the elevated cost of high spatial resolution
obtained from satellite and aerial photogrammetric survey.",
